An early eighties dancefloor classic with vocals by La-Rita Gaskins and a mixes by John Morales (later of M&M fame). Produced & arranged by the infamous Greg Carmichael (apparently solo with no Adams credited) and a special remix by Morgan Khan & Alan James Jewell. The Special Disco Mixer is interesting but not up to par. As an evolutionary observation of Soul & Dance development it is worth listening to but oh, how our expectations have changed.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! I have been looking for this one for a while. I've always really liked their track with Fonda Rae, Touch Me (All Night Long). I remember liking it when i was a kid because it was in the movie Nightmare on Elm Street 2, of all things.

Classic stuff, I still have this on 12" and remember it tearing up the dancefloor at the Nottingham Bali-Hai club (downstairs at the Palais-De-Dance). Cheers for sharing this gem. You are right about the special disco mixer though - not one of disco's finest moments.
